Mind and body are not separate
Depression and diabetes travel together. Anxiety and thyroid disease are frequently mistaken for one another. Chronic pain and low mood feed each other in both directions. And people with severe mental illness in Pakistan have consistently poorer physical health, in large part because their physical complaints are never properly investigated.
